119 TMOs & Tehsil Nazims, 2,500 UC Nazims & Secretaries, 34 ADLGs and 5,000 masons trained and oriented about community-based low cost sanitation practices; |
| Introduced the concept of ‘Build Your Latrine Yourself (BYLY)’ among target population; |
| Held advocacy meetings with the religious leaders and elect councilors of the area to solicit their support in motivating general public for adopting safe and hygienic sanitary practices at the household level; |
| Developed partnership mechanisms with the select government departments i.e. Education, Heath and Community Development for disseminating heath & hygiene and sanitation messages; and |
| Widely disseminated information through print and electronic media for changing knowledge, attitude and practices of the target population towards safe and hygienic sanitary practices; |
