Mr Sadaqat Shah Roghani

Chairperson, SABAWON

Mr Roghani has over fourteen years experience in training, communication and material development. He has received various on job training, conducted by international and national organizations, in social sector. Presently he is working as Advisor to an international NGO in Afghanistan. He has solid command in planning and imparting training, community development, children right and in development of communication material.


Mr Syed Shah Nasir

Vice Chairperson, SABAWON

Mr Nasir has a master’s degree in Social Sciences. Presently he is working as Team Leader on Asian Development Bank funded project irrigation sector in Mardan. He has over ten years experience in the field of community development sector. He has almost eight years experience in working on welfare projects (income generation, education, vocational training) for Afghan Refugees in different camps. He has worked with major international organizations on community related projects.

Mr Mohammad Idrees

Member BoD

Mr Idrees has master’s degree in social work. He has rich experience in training, field surveys, need assessments, education and community development and drug abuse sectors and has been contributing his services for the well being of Afghans refugees.

Mr Bakhtiar Khan

Member BoD

Mr Khan has rich experience in community development projects for Afghan refugees. He has coordinated a number of training programmes for refugees and government officials.

Mr Mohammad Tariq

Secretary BoD/Chief Executive

Mr Tariq holds a master’s degree in social sciences and has over thirteen years experience in community mobilisation, CBOs and NGOs development, management and in monitoring and evaluation of development projects throughout Pakistan and Afghanistan. He has excellent command over education, water and sanitation, human and children rights and drug abuse sectors. He has worked with international organizations on different community based projects.

Mr Mohammad Farooq

Member BoD/Programme Manager

Mr Farooq holds master degree in public administration with specialization in finance and project cycle management. Within development sector, he worked with UNHCR/CMP/Cowater International, SRSP and SDC/CHIP in various capacities and possesses good knowledge and command over community based development approaches.
